Looking for a daycare, preschool or co-op group, in the Plateau

Hello,

Just moved to Montreal from Brooklyn, NY. We have a 2 year old daughter and looking to get her in to some sort of daily group. She's missing her friends (were in a co-op daycare 3 days/week in Brooklyn). Looking for: preschool, daycare, private or public, or a co-op group. French or bilingual. Really, just looking for a good place that people recommend. And hopefully not too far from the neighborhood as winter's around the corner.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've spoken with a handful of people, and the answers/advice have been along the same line: that we're SOL, up a creek without a paddle, etc. :)
