Discharge while 6wks preggo?

Hi ladies,

I am new at this so please bear with me.

I am newly pregnant, about 6 wks and 5 days, according to my calculation. The other day (after I had just seen my MD to confirm my pregnancy with a blood test) I had a brown mucus discharge (sorry for the graffic details). Of course it was the weekend and I couldn't reach the office. I know that this can happen and it is most likely a normal thing probably brought on by increased activity. I talked to my mom and she said that she had the same thing with me.

My question is...if you had this, how long did it last? I have had it everyday since Saturday, no cramping or nausea. Some days it's only a little bit on my TP, but today there was enough that it came out during a frequent trip to the bathroom.

I will be calling my dr in the morning but I am trying to keep calm until then and thought I would see what you all thought.

I think about a day or so, if that. Brown is usually a better sign than pink at that stage. It doesn't hurt to call, though.

I've had brown discharge in the early weeks of my last 3 pregnancies. Turned out to nothing serious!
