New to mothering, 8 weeks pregnant with twins

Just found out Monday that we are expecting twins! We have a two year old dd and this is my second pregnancy. Had some bleeding on Monday so on short term bed rest at the moment, have been doing well since Monday and have an appointment to check on the babies tomorrow. Just wanted to introduce myself since I'll be lurking and probably doing some posting, and doing lots of reading on this board to learn from mamas who have BTDT. It's nice to "meet" all of you!

I (foolishly) wondered why the multiples forums were a little quiet, before my twins were born.  But people here are very helpful and kind.

there is a pregnant with multiples thread around often, if not maybe a new one should be started, its fun to band together!

i suggest going back a few pages in this multiples section and reading thru the titles and anything of interest. that way when questions come up for you, you can know what has been said or at least that we had a chat about that particular topic. there is a treasure trove of info for the browsing. and of course ask anything you want.

how far along are you?

do you know what type of twin you have? (mono, Di and the like?) we can help you figure out the terminology if you like.
