I officially joined you all! My ddc group (July) was so so silent, I had to come aboard. I was due mid July thus I often lurked in the August DDC so I semi-feel like I get your all's wonderful lively togetherness. Soooo I am Audrey, I have 3 babes, and my first boy was born August 1~ :)

Any other new people here that want to come outta the woodwork?

I've always read the August DDC but didn't post much until recently so I'll introduce myself...

I'm Jessica, and my daughter Mirah is my first baby! She was due August 24 but made her appearance September 3.

I have learned so much from this group!

i am another lurker de-lurking!

hello, my name is adriana.  i've been lurking for ohh.... about a year?  so, creepily, i know a lot about you guys without ever jumping in myself :)

my son (still sounds weird!), jack atlas, was born on september 1.  jack is 4.5 months old now, 16.2 lbs, 25? inches long, and pretty much the best baby ever!  i still haven't gone back to work but savings are running low so it's looking like i'll be going back in the beginning of february.  not happy about it!  we are ebf, co-sleeping for now, baby-wearing, and just this month jumped into cloth diapering.  

anyway, i don't have any mom friends in dc where i live, so i've been reading this ddc since i was pregnant and gleaning all of your knowledge through pregnancy, birth, and baby-raising.  thanks for all the help you didn't know you were providing :)  as he gets older & i get ready to go back to working at least part-time, i find myself having more questions and experiences to share, so i thought i'd introduce myself now to save the trouble when i do officially jump in!

i'll probably show off my handsome man in the photo thread soon enough, but for now, it is a pleasure to officially meet you all!

Semi-de-lurked before a while ago on a random thread, and I've been popping in to look around, but I still feel like sort of a creep for not participating much. It is SO nice to see so many of my new-mama experiences reflected back here!

My boy Fergus was born 8/15 and he has two teeth coming in; I am not ready!

HaHa... another lurker here.    I have enjoyed reading your posts over the past year or so.  I am not really sure why I never came out of the wood-work but here I am now.  :)  I have 2 kiddos: Maia (almost 3) and Kai (4 mos).  You all seem like a nice group of mamas and your posts have been funny, encouraging, and super insightful.  Thanks for the welcome.  I intend to participate more.  :)
