My nine month old has three teeth now- two on the bottom and one on the top and one about to pop through on the top.  The two on the top and one on the bottom are exactly where they should be, but the second one on the bottom is way off to the side, like where the second one over would be.  His smile looks something like this...

Is this normal or is he missing a baby tooth, or what?  There seems to be no evidence of a tooth coming in that space.  It's cute- he looks like a little Jack-o-Latern- but I wouldn't want it to be like that until he gets his adult teeth.
