Giving cell salts to a 3 month old?

My 3 month old has a horrible cough that started off dry-sounding, but is starting to sound a little wetter.  I'm starting to take Hyland's Bioplasma cell salts for a bit of a cold I have and I was wondering if they are ok to give to such a young baby.  It does have dosage for as young as one year old, but not for younger.  I know that homeopathics are ok for babies, is this the same thing?  Could I dissolve one of the tabs in a little breast milk and feed him through a dropper?  I took him to the doctor yesterday and they tried to tell me it's probably just reflux, but I know it's not.

I see this post is a week old, but how is your baby? If I have to give cell salts to a baby, I may, but I would probably try herbs first as that is what I am firmiliar with. And with cell salt, only one tablet, not the 3-4 listed on the bottle. If a baby was more like 6 months, I would be totally fine with cell salts.
