Physicians having homebirths

Sorry if this has been posted, and, I hope it's not against mdc rules, but, I thought these two stories were pretty great.

I wonder if all the naysayers will say that these physicians didn't do their research either?

Not unprecedented I don't think?  If you are interested in thoughts of physicians on alternative birthing choices, there is a balanced discussion on the mommd forums, with many viewpoints represented.

I guess it's balanced but it comes from a very weird place.  The third post in says that she would never even use a midwife in a hospital.  It just seems very strange that it seems like it's so familiar and going on "everywhere" to you.
