so i know im a bit early, i think im technically 3-4 weeks, but i cant remember anything from my first pregnancy!  im particular;y interested in great health and nutrition this time around.  anyone have their must have's food or supplements?

 

so exciting to have a little one in the oven again!

Congratulations!!  I just found out on Sunday!  Looks like we'll be joining the August 2012 group!  :)

 

As far as healthy foods, I'm just excited because by this point last time (I'm 4 weeks tomorrow) I was already sick and I've only been sick a little so far.  So maybe I'll be eating food!  Last time, I just ate whatever was in front of me because I was so sick.  :(

Me too!  I found out yesterday morning. 

 

I'm trying to keep things to moderate and sensible levels as far as eating goes.  I didn't go crazy the first time but I wasn't super stringent.  I gained more than I'd like and of course had a much bigger baby than I'd have liked so I'm hoping to make some changes even though we're still not sure what caused it.

 

I plan to avoid HFCS whenever I can, and cut out pop as much as I can (which is hard because I LOVE it).  Take it easy on the sugar and carbs and try to fill up on protein and vegetables.  That kind of thing.

same here with taking it easy on the sugar this time around, im pretty sure i ate ice cream every night and a couple of cupcakes a week!  but im trying now to incorporate lots more vegetables, good fats etc. congrats everyone!

I've been eating a lot more fruits and veggies too!  Feels good, especially knowing that these little beans are developing SO much right now!

Congrats!!   I'm a bit of a sweets addict myself, but threads like this remind me I don't have to eat like everyone says a pregnant woman should!  And wow, you did have a big baby!  Did you HB?  That is amazing! :-)

That would be amazing! But no, I ended up with an unplanned section. Her size and positioning made it so I had too hard a time pushing. And a slow labor exhausted me. A bad combo. I'm planning a VBAC this time around.
