Is almost 3 too big for rocking horse?

Dd is almost 3 and a very very tall girl, way off the charts. She loves swinging and rocking and I want to get her something for indoors that she can rock or swing on for Christmas.

Is she past being able to use a rocking horse? Surely not?

My very large older 2-year-old still loves her rocking horse, but I don't know how much time it'll have left. It's no longer a favorite. I'm wondering about a Rody Horse though -they're inflatable and bouncy, indoors or outdoors, and are good for learning balance. They're a bit tippy so if you were to get one you'd want to use it on carpet until she's used to it. But she'd be growing into that rather than out of it.

All the kids (up to age 4-5ish) that visit our house love DS's rocking horse. LOL maybe we just have really boring toys so that's the only thing that holds their attention, IDK. They tend to scoot along on it rather than rock on it when they're older. Plus all the kids like to 'feed' the horse and all. So I don't think 3 is too old but I would opt for a bigger one than the toddler-sized ones.

Another option on that idea is a balance board.... they have some that are made from a single curved piece of wood (Waldorf "rocker boards") so it can rock too.

As far as swings, I've seen some indoor ones at IKEA... that could be fun!

Not at all, as long as it fits. DD is five and LOVES the wood rocking horses at the pumpkin patch we go to. The head and body are made from wooden beams, and I'd say they'd easily fit kids up to 12 or so.
