Recipes using cooked whey?

Thread Starter
I have a lot of whey from making cheese frozen in pints and quarts in my freezer, and it is taking up precious space--I need to start using it up. Any ideas of how to incorporate it into foods or recipes that specifically call for whey? Can I sub it for other dairy products like for buttermilk biscuits or the milk in potato soup?

I've used it in place of water or broth in making oatmeal and soup. I guess you could try and use it in any recipe as a water or broth substitute. However, your loved ones, like mine, may then complain of the "funny" taste (sigh).
