Thanks!! You too.

This is the first year our family will decorate for Christmas at the time of Thanksgiving.  We moved furniture around this morning to make way for the tree, and got one of our two bins of Christmas stuff out of the basement.  We've been listening to carols and smelling pumpkin pie bake all day.  So festive!

Tomorrow we have dinner with the in-laws at 3, and drive 8 hours to visit my sister and mom for a second go-round, New Mexican style!  Turkey one day, tamales the next!  Yum.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!!

We are going to my aunts house to have brunch and watch the parade (the only time we could get my moms family together), then to mom's house for lunch at 3, then I'm off the birmingham to meet my best friend for shopping!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you that celebrate it!

We are going to be having dinner with all 3 of our favorite neighbors! One (A three generation group of women) invited our family and the two other families to enjoy the day with them. They're providing the meal and the rest of us are each bringing something along...I'm on pie duty! I truly can't imagine a way I'd prefer to spend Thanksgiving than with some of the most generous and pleasant people I know...it may be the first Thanksgiving I've ever truly enjoyed :) So looking forward to it.

Happy Thanksgiving indeed.

DH surprised me by announcing that he's thankful for his "pregnant wife" on this thanksgiving. That constitutes our facebook announcement, I guess! orngtongue.gif

Mmmmm. Tamales for Thanksgiving - reminds me of living in Texas.
