So I have a bit of a dilemma.... I think I has a miscaraige in October. On Friday the 21st (right on time) I have the normal flow that had tissue in it then slowly on Saturday it turned from thick to thin bright red blood, as though I had an open wound. On Sunday it was to the point I was having to check on my menstrual cup every 45-70 minutes or it would over flow.
We arrived home on Sunday and the ride home (not chasing kids) greatly seemed to help. The next day I started on the pregnancy tea, knowing my body was needing some help. That made an even bigger decrease in my bleeding and by Tuesday the bleeding was over (normal period length for me).
Well we were not trying to conceive (things we wanted to get done first), so I knew my cycle length (29 days) and roughly when ovulation happened. I chart (thought no where near well as I should be). I took an ovulation test when I thought levels would be rising and one later to confirm LH levels were decreasing.
My period should have started Friday November 18th. On Monday I took two pregnancy tests and they were both positive (middle of the day by my urine was condensed because I had been doing running that after noon).
I think I got pregnant in Nov., but I could have lost one baby in October ans still have one. I typically get symptoms fast, so for me to go that long and not have symptoms until Nov. 18th would be so strange for me! I could have ovulated twice in November, but when.
I definitely know I'm pregnant and I know baby is developing beautifully. However, I'm thinking I would like a blood test to see where my HCG levers are to see how far along this pregnancy is (so if baby does come early June, full term I'm not stressing over birth time). But to do that I have to go see a physician and I'm sure they will want to do an ultrasound (I don't like those). I'm also afraid of them finding twins. Not that I don't want twins, but I think it is illegal for a midwife to deliver twins at home. I'm NOT birthing healthy babies in the hospital!
I'm so torn, any suggestions?
