I have a 13 month old son who has been sleeping with my husband and I since birth. It has worked out great and I can tell that he is a very secure and happy baby(toddler now, ugh!). The problem is that we have moved into a very small (shared) house and have a smaller bed and smaller space to live and sleep in. We are experiencing the "feet in face" position and it's getting very uncomfortable for us. It also becomes a problem when he wakes us up by pulling our hair (very hard) and blocks our needed quality time as husband and wife.

We have a crib that is only a few feet outside our bedroom door and we can see it. We have tried to transfer him into the bed after he falls asleep in ours, but more times than none, he wakes up mid-move our shortly after. He has successfully slept in it a couple times so I know its possible. I am wondering if anyone knows how to move him into the bed at the beginning of the night where he is comfortable doing so? I just cant do the co-sleeping anymore.
