I would be! We are in Somerset county -- I also run a natural parents group so I'm sure some mommas would be into the idea!

Depending on where in Morris Co we'd probably be interested- I'm all the way in Monmouth but would really like to be involved! Do you think my son would be too young? He's about 17 months.

I am very interested in this! I live in Morris County near Lake Hopatcong.  I have a 4 year old daughter. This is exciting. I will definitely take part. :D

There are 2 possibilities...Livingston in Essex County and/or Rockaway Township in Morris County.
I meet with the Livingston folks on June 18th.
Rockaway is taking a little longer to work out the details...

So, our first step is starting a parent study group.
We will meet at Beach 1 in White Meadow Lake Rockaway, NJ at 6ish on August 7th.
Children welcome, there is sand, playground and man made lake-beach (no lifeguards after 6)

We will discuss the book What is Waldorf Education- 3 lectures.
Please read before meeting.

We can discuss next meeting time and location as well as timeline for classes.

I got the okay for 1x month Sunday Fall Parent and Child classes in Livingston.
Share schedule and work out details at August meeting.

FYI- check out Natural Mommas meetup- they have a strong Waldorf vibe going currently.
They are meeting at Steiner Fellowship for Hand and Hoe this Friday.

Are you guys still meeting?  We are in East Stroudsburg, PA about an hour from Hopatcong/Rockaway. We are a Waldorf-inspired homeschoolers of 9, 7.5, 5.5 and 3 year old daughters and looking for a Waldorf community to hopefully start a cooperative or gatherings to do circle activities +.  Would appreciate to know what's going on close to us if anything  :)

We had one book club meeting.

The next program planned is Waldorf inspired Challah bread baking at a synagogue in White Meadow Lake Rockaway NJ.
Call 973- 627-4500 and ask the office to send you a brochure on it.
If you PM me I think I can send the brochure as an attachment..

All folk are welcome- Jewish or another religion or no religion, Synagogue members or not, local or distance.
It is free and geared to families with 3-7 year olds.

I am trying to gage interest and start up a Waldorf community/Playgroup/Nursery School.

Also thinking about offering a Summer Program in White Meadow Lake, NJ...
