Advanced Search feature, is there a way to expand to include all posts, not just threads/opening...

Is it just me or does the Advanced Search feature seem ambiguous?  It would seem like it is searching all posts but the results only seem to turn up Opening Posts (OPs).

 

Is that the default search functionality?  If so, is there a way to expand the search to include posts?

 

Perhaps I should specify, I am looking for an old post of mine using some pretty distinctive search terms.  It would be a reply within a thread.  Unless the thread or my post simply disappeared I can't think of why I wouldn't be able to locate it except that when I start broadening the search term I do get some hits but only of opening posts.
