I catch all of my sons poops now!! No pees ever...

I never imagined catching my sons poops would be easier than catching pees but it happened that he loves to go poop in the potty. 

I still cannot catch any pees! Oh well. I'm not too worried I just keep offering the potty almost every time I change his diaper. I catch poops every day once a day usually. 

I should add that he's 3 months and have practiced ec from since he was a couple weeks old. I could catch some pees in the beginning but now I never learned his cues bc he has nine and so I feel hopeless @ pees :)

poops have been easier with my kids, and so far seems that way with the littlest baby. I'll take it. The kids not pooping on themselves, not having to scrape poop off of their bodies, not having poopy diapers in the pail or the wash- its AWESOME.

Tried timing? At that age we offered the potty every 15-20 min, right after wake up, going out to about 30-40 min as we got further from sleep....try nakie time to get a sense of the time pattern...

I second everything flyrabbitfly says. Variations on that in case you don't want or can't offer the potty that often, would be to offer right after waking in the morning, right after naps, and a maybe 5-10 minutes after eating, and right before and right after car trips. You could also try naked time to better learn cues like flyrabbitfly says, or use a non-waterproof diaper or trainer so you can see right away when he 'went' and take note of his facial expressions, sounds, and other movements right before he peed. 

Good luck, sounds like it is going great so far. I think poops are the most gratifying thing to catch anyway! So much easier to simply flush it away!
