Hello from NY - Any other first time Mom's in their 40's?

New to this site and wondering if there are any first time Moms in their 40's out there?  What a beautiful and sometimes scary experience!  Would love to hear from others that have been down this path.

Welcome to MDC!  I became a first time mom at 42 (I'm also from NY).  I'm 48 now.  DD was very welcome but honestly I'm a little uneasy about the thought of going into menopause (which I think is starting to happen) while DD is still fairly young. 

 

 I wouldn't change things for anything in the world, however!  I think there are a lot of us "older" moms here on MDC and so far it has been a great place for support and dialogue, at least for me.

Thank you for the warm welcome!  I agree - I wouldn't change anything either.  Except... maybe the menopause part..lol
