Sharing my reasons for chosing UC

I've been feeling horribly sick during this pregnancy. My book writing has been completely on hold & I've been feeling so unproductive... Which makes me even more proud to have finished this article yesterday :) so I'm sharing it everywhere!  It took me a really long time to be able to articulate all the complex reasons behind my decision to UC -- Now, almost 9 years after first making the decision to do so, I've got it all pretty clearly oulined here:

I thought some of you might appreciate this & maybe you'll find it helpful in explaining your own reasons when people's questions get overwhelming.  I'll be writing a whole series for this site (kind of a step-by step guide to UC pregnancy) eventually -- Kind of have to wait for the muse to hit me hard as I'm working with a house full of boys -- But i'm really excited to be contributing & looking forward to getting more articles done soon.

I just had an unassisted birth two weeks ago...It was awesome..I found this swing to birth in and it made all the difference in my delivery... You should check it out www.earthbirthswings.com this was my third baby, second homebirth, first unassisted....The positions I was able to get in with my pool changed my entire experience!! The swing really made birthing easier and recovery has been just as amazing,wish i had known about these for my other births....Wisdom with age and experience!
