Well, they did grow, but they passed away in utero probably in the last 2 days. Thank you ladies for all the laughs, complaints, etc.
Appointment check-ins! - Page 12
Oh, dear Deborah ... so sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself and let us know if you need anything. You can pm if you want. I am not too far away from you. Not sure what I could do with with my kids in tow, but if you need help I can see about it.
ETA: If you are interested in getting pictures of the boys, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep at http://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/ offers free services.
Oh, Deborah! I am so sorry! I can imagine what you are going through as I lost twins at about 20 weeks myself. It was the worst experience of my life and just unbearably awful....BUT my life got better and I got my beautiful precious 2nd son about a year after that loss and I definitely wouldn't trade him for two babies. During those dark dark days after our loss, neither of us would have believed it, but we wound up being happier than we ever could have imagined. I am so sorry you are having to go through this, mama. for your little boys. May you and your husband be blessed.
Deborah, I am in tears just thinking about what you must be going through. I don't really know what words I could say that would comfort you, but I do know that there is a community here that is hurting for and with you, and praying for you. Please, if you need someone to talk to I would be happy to listen. I have had 2 late M/C's, and it is so difficult. We are here for you.
We had our 6 month appointment last night. All was well, thankfully. I measured over 28 centimeters for fundal height (instead of 25 like is normal for 25 weeks). The baby was laying on my right side, and my husband was across the room. All of a sudden, his eyes get REALLY big and he says, "Your right side is so much bigger than your left!" with a panicking tone. LOL He'd never noticed before that you can literally see where the baby is in my belly, especially when I'm laying down. The midwife showed him how the baby was positioned ("It's like the baby is in a hammock over here on the right side, see?"), and he was in awe. It was pretty amazing and funny. :)
I've still been thinking about Deborah a lot lately... I hope she is okay. I can't even imagine.
BP was good
Gained 2.5 LB in 4wks
Some sugar in urine, but I also had just drank the one-hr beverage
They drew blood for glucose test.
HB was in 150s
I forgot if she told me what I was measuring.
She indulged my request for baby position check..and baby is head down. I know it can still move, but now I can sort of identify what it feels like. Also, was reassuring that baby can go that way since it never was when checked before.
