I also had an appointment yesterday @ 36+6... GBS+ unfortunately. But my MW walked us through what would need to be done, and it didn't seem like all that big a deal (they can put in a hep lock so I don't have to be tethered to the IV) so I'm not too worried about it. Maybe I should be, but I don't really need one more thing to worry about, so I'm not focusing on it much.
She is still OK with my blood pressure readings. I feel the bottom # is creeping up, but still negative for proteinuria, and I feel pretty good, so I am trying to just let this go. It certainly isn't helping me to lie awake at night worrying about it, or obsess about it all day long. I will continue to take my bp at home and keep an eye on fetal movement, possible symptoms, etc. Other than that I am torn between hoping I will go into labor early (to give me the best shot at avoiding pre-e) or late (because we have so !@#$! much left to do before the baby comes! ) Probably good that I can't control the outcome either way.
kimmom and others who are having issues with fluid leaks--good luck! I hope all is well.
