Frannie had her first appt. yesterday... momma was concerned because she had no pee/poop for 24 hours except uric acid which we've never had before. dr said she looked good and was sure my milk would be in soon and call if she had not peed by evening. suggested a tiny amount of formula or sterile water only if i wanted to.bought both before heading home but sure enough by the time we got back i was starting to leak and we nursed for a long time and she had 5 wet diapers and then poop. 

next appt. for her is in 2 weeks.

I had my 39w appointment today, my first time with the "weight nazi" midwife. She definitely wasn't as bad as I had been led to believe she'd be, but she definitely did spend the most time during the visit talking about my weight. My BP was in the 130s/80s, baby's heartrate was in the 120s, and my total weight gain this pregnancy has been 22lbs.

She kept referring to me as "fluffy", and said that heavier women have more trouble going into labor on their own, and that since I'm  "Bradley girl", she knows I want as few interventions as possible, so she wanted me to be walking 2+ miles per day, or swimming the equivalent, to get my body primed and start things moving. So, we've got our final Bradley session tonight, and afterwards (thankfully after dark), my partner and I will be taking a nice long walk around our neighborhood.

Omg, if someone ever referred to me as "fluffy" or anything like that I would get so pissed off. You must have a lot more patience than I do!!!

I went into it knowing that she's a bit of a chode, and I pretty much took every opportunity I could get to poke at her during the visit. But yeah, I've never been called "fluffy" before.

It makes me think of comedian Gabriel Iglesias, which is how he refers to himself...
