Pregnancy dreams?

Anyone having them yet?  I had the craziest one last night!

We have been calling the baby Pickles.  I dreamed that Pickles was born, and was a girl.  My labor was super fast and no big deal at all, but then I realized when my milk came in that I never delivered the placenta (!).  I went back to work the day after I had her and I thought it was so weird because she never really wanted to nurse, and I kept calling my husband to remind him to change her diaper.  At work we were being held hostage by John Travolta and Danny Devito, but not everyone knew what was going on - it was really weird.  And the weirdest (and most terrifying) thing of all was that my son had turned into identical triplets, and DH and I kept losing some of them.

Wow!  That's a good one!  LOL  biglaugh.gif

I had a weird dream last night, too.  I dreamed that I was on a season of Top Model, only it was for pregnant women!!!!  LOL  And for some reason, it was combined with a video game.  All of us preggos were dressed in princess dresses and were exploring some strange, cartoon-like castle.  I could jump super high sometimes (that was apparently my special video game move), and I remember jumping onto ledges and finding coins.  I kept thinking that some of the other "models" were bad guys in disguise from the video game.  It made absolutely no sense!  ROTFLMAO.gif

Every time I fall asleep it's a crazy dream.

I had one that there was a spider that could spin an entire web in 15 seconds, in black and white designs, and if you killed the spider it exploded.

I had one that Robin Williams and I were looking for my husband because he wanted to play a video game with him.

I had one that my husband was speaking to me in a different language, everyone else could understand him but I couldn't.

This morning when I woke up I'd been having a dream that my youngest, Mae, was a monkey. So when we went shopping for Christmas presents today I bought her a HUGE stuffed monkey that's about as big as her and is shaped like a pillow.

So right now she's laying on that and watching her show before I go put her down for a nap. She's going to be upset when she gets up and it's missing, but it's a Christmas present!

Oh my, those are pretty bizarre!  I haven't had any crazy pregnant dreams that I can remember so far.  (My foster DD is only 17 mos and doesn't sleep through the night yet- she's on a ventilator at night and unhooks herself while she's flipping and flopping, so I have to get up several times a night and probably don't get enough sleep to properly dream, lol.)  But when I was pregnant with my first child I constantly had dreams that I kept forgetting to feed him.  He'd be like a month old in my dream and I'd realize that I'd never nursed him, yet he was growing and beautiful.  Weird, lol.

Last night I dreamed that I was in high school and some dude really liked me but we were all bugs and I was trying to find my husband.

I've noticed my husband is a recurring theme, especially lately.

That is interesting that you dreamed about not nursing your DS too.  I didn't think anyone else would dream about that!  I'm kind of hoping the part about dreaming LO was a girl was right, but I dreamed that with DS and was totally wrong.

I tend to have um, explicit dreams when I'm pregnant. They've started and it's awesome. One of my fav parts of being pregnant.

I've been having some crazy dreams too! It's so funny to tell my dh because he just doesn't understand why that happens. I don't either, I just know I have crazy dreams during pregnancy!

I had a dream last night that someone bleached my hair and eyebrows, and I was really mad because I remembered I was pregnant and who the heck would put those chemicals on me right now?  Also, I was mad because I looked awful!  LOL

One needs to be able to sleep in order to dream, right? :(

These are fun to read!

OOps, missed this thread before I posted mine in a new thread.

I like that dream! I think it would be cool to have a pregnant lady Top Model. Also, with me being married to a geek, I have to be appreciative of the video game aspect :-).

I know I had a crazy dream before I got my BFP, (but after transfer), but I can't remember what it was. Darn it!

I had a dream last night of the actors from Two and a Half men, only Charlie was back, and he was running a run-down hotel trying to hide from his brother, who found him anyway.

WTF. I haven't even watched that show in a long time!

Yep - me too! If only I felt well enough and had enough energy to actually have sex!

Did you happen to see the new Twilight movie?  I hear that's in there somewhere, although I haven't seen it myself!  Maybe you are absorbing part of the cultural consciousness?  LOL

And Freud is just so silly, with his talk about everything being about penises.  biggrinbounce.gif  I'm sure there's a penis in that dream somewhere!

Last night I dreamt I wiped and found blood. Maybe I am spending too much time reading these discussions? No blood or spotting or anything IRL. Phew. Way to make a girl nervous, though!!!

I have enjoyed my dreams since getting pg; mine are normally so boring and everyday, but I have had some wild adventures many nights lately, lol!  I actually dreamed of the baby for the first time the other night though, it was weird.  I came into the kitchen, holding the new baby, feeling amazed that "she" was here already.  My other 2 kids were in the kitchen and the 2 yo asked for milk, which I poured for him, in a sippy cup.  He gave it to the baby to drink, and I said "NO NO! Baby can't drink that-" and then baby puked all over the kitchen floor.  So then I LAID THE BABY DOWN ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR! behind me and started cleaning it up.  Turned around, and baby was gone.  Then I saw her CRAWLING under the table!  She tried to crawl under a chair, bumped her head on the rung, and started crying loudly.  I ran to pick her up and console her, AMAZED that she was crawling already, and then she SPOKE!  I can't remember exactly what she said, just that she started talking.  I ran to tell DH that the baby was crawling and talking already, and he was not particularly impressed or surprised that our newborn could do all that.  lol

I dream about food every single night. One night a huge seafood buffet, one night gyros, last night it was papa john's cheese pizza. Always delicious, rich, greasy food. All the things I would vomit up if I ate them during the day. My last pregnancy was the same in this regard.
