My son has been going to the potty since he was 18 months old. he will pee and poop when and if he wants to. He attends a day school all week and has the same pattern there as well. We have never pushed him to go to the potty full time and still allow him to wear his pull ups. His school is telling us for him to be able to move up with his class in the summer he has to be completly potty trained and if not he will be held back. He know when to hold it and when to let you know when he needs to go, but its as if he is waiting to see what we will do when he goes in his pants, somedays he will forgo the potty all together and some he has no accidents at all. I'm not sure how to handle this, I dont want to scare him if I make a big deal about the accidents, but then again I know that hes ver capable of going hes just not. and ideas???
