northeast L.A. birthing options?

i already created a post about pasadena, but im opening it up to any other towns around the area, as im not getting any hits...are there not pasadena mothering mamas?:) i am really in a time crunch as i need to make my first prenatal appointment asap, and am new to the area, so i would just love love love to hear any experiences, good or bad doc/midwives etc.  please and thank you!

margo kennedy is a well-known midwife in the pasadena area. i have a friend who will be using her, but i don't have personal experience with her. if chino is not too far, i would highly recommend lori luyten. she was our midwife and our son was born at her birthing center. she is wonderful in so many ways. here's her website: http://www.ancientpathsmidwifery.com/ and facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/lori.midwife?sk=info
