Children's Book Recommendations?

Hey ladies! My daughter is 20 months old and we are newly pregnant, due probably in August 2012. I am looking for children's books that talk about pregnancy that are age appropriate for my daughter AND don't portray only bottle feeding babies. We breastfeed and supplement at breast with an SNS, and I don't think she'd really be able to understand bottle feeding babies in the book as being like her, KWIM?

I have heard that there is a Dr. Sears book on pregnancy but that it's not age appropriate for an under 2 kid, and I have seen good reviews of other pregnancy books but that they only portray bottle feeding. Why can we have both? greensad.gif

I like "hello baby" http://www.amazon.ca/Hello-Baby-Jenni-Overend/dp/1845071107/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322877669&sr=8-1

dd is 21 mo and she likes it. It portrays homebirth and breastfeeding. I don't find it too graphic, but I narrate it myself (now the mommy is pushing baby, everyone is rubbing her back etc.) is shows baby crowning but not too graphically, thedrawings are quite beatiful and soft. dd loves it

how about this book

I bought this as a gift & was pleased as I read it, before wrapping it up. Shows pics of breastfeeding, baby-sling wearing, Dad helping-out. Great book! I'll give this to Big-Sibling at the same time as I give the new baby gift.

Yeah, I have seen the Dr. Sears ones. They are definitely not age appropriate for my little one, though, The "Hello Baby" one looks promising, too. I guess I can always narrate myself instead of reading the words with whichever one I choose...
