Jamiee, when my kids puke they often have no other symptoms. If he doesn't have a fever and It doesn't go on for much longer I wouldn't worry.  If its major projectile vomiting, that's different.

Hi ladies!  Been unable to post all week- too busy holding a babe!  I've been trying to stay up to date, though.  And now the baby is waking up.  Agh!  Will post more later.  Have a great holiday weekend if I don't get back on before then :-)

No fever, but he just barfed again.  He's basically not holding anything down.  We've only allowed him to eat small amounts of bland food, but back up it comes and why in the world did it skip an entire day where everything was totally normal??!  I'm not sure how to proceed here... I guess no more food and get some pedialyte?

Hello Everyone, I wasn't sure where to go to introduce myself so this seemed a good place (hopefully not derailing the conversation). I've been reading the threads here for a while and decided I'd like to participate. I had my baby boy, Jack, on 11/19. Planned for a birth center birth but ended up with a c-section birth. Didn't get the birth I wanted but I got a healthy baby and am having lots of success breastfeeding. I'm looking forward to having other Moms to communicate with as I don't know too many IRL near me.

Your son and mine share a birthday!! :) I also don't know many women IRL near me who are moms, but I recently got involved in an AP group and it's been great. Is there a mom's group near you?

Everyone, I have some wonderful news.  Grandma stayed behind in the Bay Area (her 2 daughters live there) when DH and I came back up to OR.  She was planning on staying just a few extra days down there while her son came to visit.  Well, I just learned she's planning to stay in the Bay... FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF JANUARY.  Joy!

In other news, KJ had a marathon sleep session last night.  I have one of those velcro swaddle blanket things that a friend gave me, and when I've tried it on KJ before she HATED it.  Well, last night she just couldn't settle down, so I tried it again and turned up the white noise machine super loud, and she passed out within 5 minutes... and slept from 10:30pm until 4:30am!  SIX hours!  Then she slept from about 5 till 7:30.  I feel like a new woman!

Thanks for all the welcomes! I'm new to this, where do I post my info?

I'm wondering about cloth diapering. Every time I try to do research I get overwhelmed but after 6 weeks of disposables, I'd really like to do something different (especially with the way the costco diapers smell) . A friend recommended Mother Ease so I got one of the one size and am trying it for the first time now. I also have a pack of the gerber ones and a cover thing I knitted but I don't think the two will work together...
