Hello? New Member Intro. « Back to Group Discussions

Hello Ladies,

I finally found the May 2012 club!  I couldn't find an Intro thread so I just stared my own. I'm new at this, forum thing, if I do something wrong or break a rule please let me know.  

A little about me:

I am 38 yrs old I have been married to my best friend for 19 years.  We have 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls. Our family is "plain", we try to live very simply, and dress accordingly. We live on an off-grid Amish Farm in MO.  We live with out electricity (we have 2 small solar panels to charge our laptop and cell phones) and are "roughing it".  We are trying our best to live off the land, and become closer as a family through our experience!  We are 14 weeks pregnant and are due May 28th!  Us girls are voting for a girl, even some of the boys are leaning that way too!!  Our u/s is 12-28, so we'll see then.  I'm really excited to be part of this club, I can't wait to get to know you all!

Hi Misty!  Welcome!  Feel free to lump in on our weekly chat, which starts every Sunday.

We're expecting our 5th baby, and am due May 9th.  :)  My DD is hoping for a girl, and the boys are hoping for a boy!  I'd be happy either way.
