Could hear heart beat at 13 weeks- should I worry?

I have a midwife but have to travel to see her so I thought I would have my regular doctor check for the baby's heart beat today since I was already in for an appointment.  I am 13 weeks 2 days and it is my third pregnancy.  He could not get a heart beat but told me not to worry because he couldn't feel my uterus above my pelvic bone so it was probably too low.  I know he set not to worry but it does worry me a little.  I am sure that I heard the heart beat by now with my first two pregnancies.  But I am also smaller this pregnancy so far.  I was in maternity clothes by now with both pregnancies and am not this time.  My pants don't fit me but I have bigger pants that do and am still way too small for maternity clothes.  So strange because I got so big so early with both pregnancies.

I was hoping to hear the heart beat because, other than being tired, I don't feel pregnant.  I am not sick at all.  I wasn't with my other ones either, but I heard the heart beat by now and with my second, I could feel him moving by now and I can't feel movement yet.

OK, So I JUST posted the exact same thread last week, DON'T freak out!  I also heard DD's heartbeat this early, and was really worried.  My midwife said not to worry, we'll check again next week.  Well, next week was yesterday and we heard the heartbeat loud and clear!  She said that my pelvis was just tilted back a little, and it gave him more room to hide.  I also haven't had hardly any symptoms with this pregnancy which is the totally opposite from DD.  But everything's fine, and I'm sure yours will be too!!!  When are you going back to the midwife?
