So I am 34 weeks pg, and wouldlove feedback. Our daughter is named after a gemstone, but not "ruby" or anything very common, not too out there either. Middle name grace.

We are having a boy and the names we definitely agree on are:

Top names:

Micah

Sorren

Mico

Saren

Emrys

Thomas (more as middle)

Luca

Aiden (more as middle)

Rainer(middle)

our last name has a strong "r" in it is that helps.
I like but dh not so much:
Emmanuel
Asa
Seth
Kieran (middle)
Milo

dh likes but me not so much:
Galen
Rowan (I like but it is very popular and close friend just named her baby this)
Pan
Meadow

am I missign any good candidates? any combo suggestions? top choice?

Sorren Thomas sounds very nice, and micah rainer too, thank you. Rainer as in the poet "Rainer Maria Rilke" (a man lol) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainer_Maria_Rilke I'm not as into the extra "e" sound in Rainier

both dh an I would probably be willing to use ones off of each other's lists for middles if they go well with the first, but are not keen on them for firsts.

"Mica" (without the H) is a mineral so that would be a cool pairing with your daughter's name. I like Micah Rowan or Micah Rainer. (I think I prefer the first one more though). That would allow you to use the name your DH likes, but without it being a first name.

Micah and Soren are WAY WAY better than Mico and Saren.

I like Milo.

"Saren" means joy and "seren" means star in welsh i think. Mico is the name ofsomeone we know adn we like it...it really depends when we see him, i never would have thought to saddle our child with my daughter;s name until I saw her and then it seemed the onyl thing that fit (it's a bit long and very fiesty, but almost everyone loves it and says it suits her)

But yeah I think Mica(h) and Sorren are the favs so far. You know Micah Rainer does sound good together but now I'm not so sure of Rainer...are there any names that would go well with Micah as a middle name that we haven't thought of?

I like Sorren.. What about Aaron?...classic, some similar sounds to the names you like and not too popular for babies where we live..lots of lovely adult Aarons...good luck!

Emmanuel is most like going to be my boy's middle name!

For first names, I like Luca, Micah, Seth and Milo. I like Emmanuel as the middle name for all but Milo. I would do Milo Asa or Milo Thomas
