Waldorf and my 12 yo dd

I have a million ideas for my son, but I have no idea what to get my daughter.  I told my mom to get her a henna kit and some clothes.  I want to get her something to use, but we are in our first year of Waldorf and I'm not sure...  She seemed to really like the needle felted bookmark she made, but I have no idea what supplies to buy etc.  I'm at a bit of a disadvantage since the are attending Waldorf from their dad's house 4 hours away and I am missing out on a lot of day to day.  Where can I find this stuff and what other ideas do you have?  we have a ton of yarn already but it doesn't seem to interest her, and we've been sewing together for several years so we have that covered.

Needlefelting supplies:

a brush or foam mat

felting needles

roving

I buy my supplies from a local yarn shop (perhaps call around), but you can also order them online.  Joann Fabrics has them too but they are pretty over priced.

Needle felting is so fun!  I've made a lot of soft animals for my DD.
