Can anyone recommend a good heriloom seed site or catalog? Planning ahead for next season and hoping for some more interesting varieties :) thanks!

Vegetable porn. Seriously, the best catalog ever. May make your eyeballs fall out of your head, and will definitely convince you to spend too much money on seeds.

awesome site! Can't wait to get my catalog. I wonder if I can turn my whole backyard into a garden?

I have Canadian resources.  The first link is to seeds of diversity, which is actually a seed saving and sharing organization that also has great links to seed companies, the others are links to actual heritage seed companies/catalogues.  the last one is really great for anyone who deals with very cold weather (I'm actually in a very moderate zone for Canada, but when it comes to melons, the cold weather specialites really rock!)

I see someone already mentioned Baker Creek, which is excellent. You should also check out Pinetree Garden Seeds and Seed Savers Exchange. Pinetree is my favorite because their quality is amazing, and their prices are great - often fifty to seventy five cents cheaper than other seed companies. And Seed Savers does only heirlooms.

Abundant Life Seed Foundation is a shadow of what it once was, but it still has a good selection, all open-pollinated.  After the fire to their facilities in Port Townsend they were purchased by Territorial Seeds and is now located in Oregon.  I still use them when I order but possibly out of habit.  I see you are in Tacoma and they specialize in varieties that work well in our area.  They also have a good selection of certified organic seed.
