Keep me company while I obsess?

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/28bbb7/]My Ovulation Chart

I'm obviously due for another miscarriage... oops, I mean pregnancy, as it's been over the 4 month mark for me now. eyesroll.gif I'm having light spotting at 8DPO. I had implantation bleeding at 8DPO with my first pregnancy too, and I only have luteal phases 10-11 days long... usually by day 8, my temps are dropping, not rising.

I really, really, really don't want to spend my birthday or Christmas miscarrying. greensad.gif

I feel like maybe I should have joined/posted this in the Bitter Sushi Ladies thread. It's hard to muster excitement about pregnancy at this point.

So, looking at my chart, what do you think?

Sure, I'll keep you company. smile.gif  I feel ya-  my miscarriages (2) outnumber my healthy pregnancies (1) now and I have a 10-11 day LP, and this is all getting me down.  I don't think I can ever get excited about a BFP again after going through miscarriages.  I won't be able to get excited until I hear a healthy heartbeat, even then, I would be cautiously excited.

Looks like your temp is dropping, greensad.gif  but you'll know for sure the next couple days.  Are you taking anything to try to make your LP longer?  I'm undecided if I should or not.... I did take Vit B6 which increased my LP from 8 days to 11 days, but haven't taken anything since my miscarriage a few weeks ago.  I might just wait and see what my LP is now without any supplements.

Baby dust to you!

Yeah, I started my period after an 8 day LP. That hasn't ever happened before. :( I'm currently on progesterone cream. I can't take B6 because of a bladder disease I have... B is a major bladder no no.

I have no children of my own, DH has an 8 year old. This has been a year now that we've been trying, with only miscarriages to show for it.

There is nothing they can do to fix the B vitamin thing? I know B vitamins are SUPER important! After my m/c in August my stupid LP was about 9-10 days because I kept spotting like 4-5 days before my period. Someone suggested B6, so I've been taking 50 mg of that and B12 and my LP went from about 9-10 days to 14 in just 1 month! Ridic. I was on the birth control pill for 10 years straight (off for 4 years now) and I've read manyyy times over that the BC pill causes B6 deficiency. I am positive I was at least a little bit deficient in it because it gave me energy and B vitamins aren't technicallyyy supposed to do that unless you're deficient!

What about foods with B vitamins, do you need to stay away from that too?

I'm so sorry you have to go through this. m/c's are awful and such bullshit!!!! Are you on another other meds or going to an RE? hug2.gif x 1 zillion.

Hey Erica-  just wondering what your plans are with the B vitamins after you get a BFP?  I plan to start on B6 again when my first period after the m/c comes (which will be in about a week).  I was taking 102.5 mg per day (2.5 mg was in my prenatal and I was taking 100 mg supplement).  When I got my BFP in late October, I gradually decreased the mg I was taking until I was taking just 27.5 mg per day.  I guess I'm just not sure what is a safe amount during pregnancy or if it's safe to just stop taking it cold turkey.

I take 50 mg of B6 and 250 mg of B12 right now (both were the lowest I could find when I bought them). I plan on continuing them through my pregnancy unless my Dr. says otherwise. She told me she perscribes B6 for nausea in pregnancy anyway, so I know it's okay to take them (I only started taking B12 too because I read that it helps with absorption of the B6). But if you had any concerns, I'd defnitely ask your Dr. If you take a low dose (50-100 is on the lower end) you shouldn't have a problem. I've read that you would have issues if you went over 300 mg a day. Lots and lots and lotssss of articles out there on this. But look up B6 in pregnancy because it's definitely perscribed for nausea! winky.gif
