would love to join the roster - I'm due 08/30/12 with #2 - this should be right since I tracked my ovulation.

I haven't done my blood work yet - I've been too nauseous to go to the lab. I'm not sure when they u/s in Canada - I forget from my first pregnancy - anyone know?

Hey everyone!  We have an official due date (though I think we're still off a few days).  Looks like it's August 8!!!!  The little bean-o is measuring at 9 weeks, 3 days today, and though we couldn't hear the heartbeat due to my crazy tilted uterus, we did see it (170 beats per minute!!!  S/he's gonna be an Olympian!) and got to see the little legs kicking.  We went with a vaginal u/s due to the tilt, so we got some amazing views of the little kiddo.  My husband was totally excited; he was clearly expecting a blurry jellybean, not an actual little human with kicking legs and flailing arms.  So freaking exciting!

That's obviously the head at the top, two little arms peeping out at the side, and there's a curled up leg at the bottom (it's better in the printed pics, actually).  In some of them you can even see the brain lobes (or the watery parts of the two lobes).  Needless to say, I've been so excited all day.  joy.gifjoy.gifjoy.gif

Well, none of my pictures will upload, even though they said they did, so you'll have to imagine an u/s pic, which I'm sure none of you have any trouble doing.  The doc is still going with August 8, but if the beano is measuring 9 w 3 days, the actual due date is closer to August 6 (which was closer to my original estimate).  So, pick your date for that one.

This one seemed to work!  Here s/he is!!!!HALL-LILLY_LAUREN_6.jpg

Montessortof, Congratulations on twins! How exciting!

LilyTiger, I can't believe that U/S picture, it is so clear, I had no idea you could see that much so early.

mdgomes - Due August 15, 2012 - #2

Interesting note on due dates, which came to me as I was (unsuccessfully) trying to go to sleep last night. I was trying to figure out why, using the same date of conception as I put into an online calculator, my midwives were getting August 15th for a due date when I got August 14th. Finally, I realized that this year is a leap year, which isn't accounted for on the little wheel calculators they general use. Mystery solved! So for anyone who's trying to squeeze one extra day out before people start saying you're "overdue", use the wheel thingy instead of an online calculator. winky.gif

The dating US puts me at 8/16.  Not far from the LMP dating, but I would have preferred the later date. :~(
