candles

I was wondering if anybody could give me some recommendations on beeswax or soy candles with essential oils that they have liked.  I am looking more for a woodsy/forest scent.  I have tried way out wax and didn't really like it.  Thanks!!!

Have you ever tried making your own candles? That way you could choose your own scents and add just the amount you want.

Thats what we do.  I like making my own because I can control the fragrance and it's never a surprise.

I have been thinking about it.  Do you have to buy molds or to make votives can you make them in the glass containers?

I use my old candle jars or spagetti sauce jars.  Baby food jars.  Pretty much anything that is glass.  I pick up a lot of them at the thrift store when I run out.  Which is sad since I burn lots of candles often.  You can do molds if you're feeling crafty.  I usually do candles with flowers from my garden.  Always looks so pretty.
