Hello, We will be moving to the Fort Belvoir,VA area in Spring of 2012 from Oahu, Hawaii. We are not Hawaiian but have lived here 3 years and adore the Korean and Japanese culture available.

I have lived in Roanoke,VA for a short time previously and have spent time in Alexandria,VA area also. Otherwise, the area is new to discover and experience.

I am seeking activities, meet-ups and connections to like-minded natural parents in the Fort Belvoir area.

I Home school. I like dyeing, sewing everything and wearing boho & vintage clothing, thrift shopping and up-cycling.

My sons are respectful, sweet, sensitive, imaginative 3 yrs and 5 yrs old.

Does anyone know of a good area and community We could meet Others in NOVA?

You should try the Washington DC tribe. I live in MD and don't really fit in, but as soon as I cross into VA on the bridge I feel right at home. I wish I had more info to help you out, but I am also new to the area. Good luck!
