Hello! We are trying to adopt a newborn domestically. What means did you adoptive parents use to connect with your birthmoms? We have a personal website (http://bigheartsemptyarms.webs.com/), but how do we tell people about it?

have you joined all the yahoo groups you can find?

I belong to waiting to adopt and to adopting older kids (doesn't apply to you) there is a LOT of networking in the yahoo gorups -- you might look there.

We are also just beginning the process to adopt domestically after loosing our international adoption referral-over a year in process : ( 

We are working with a private agency in Chicago; but are free to connect on our own with a mother seeking an adoption plan.  I guess I'm looking to find out what worked for others!
