I highly recommend Pump it up or any other play place that is all about fun and lets the parents play too. We had DD2's party yesterday there and I believe 20 kids showed up. I invited a lot of my adult friends that don't have kids but have husbands who are pretty much kids and most of the adults played too. Someone took my video camera and caught all of the fun for me while I played like childhood was going out of style! I'm in pain today but my kids had a blast and thankfully all the parents were cool enough to follow the no toy rule. DD2 was given things for her hair, crafts and lots of games. She came home so excited that everyone had given her so many things that were useful to her. Though she would have been fine with just having her friends there! She was so happy to have so many people celebrate her day!Â

We ended the night with DH and I telling her her birth story, he embellishes and said I ate two boxes of cereal before going to the hospital all lies but she loved it.Â

We didn't do candy filled goody bags but instead put lots of crafts in each bag.
