smelly cradle cap

I searched and didn't really find any answers on how to solve this proboem. Dd2 has smelly cradle cap. Not sure if the OO I've been putting on her is 100%for pure.

Is there a way to get rid of the smell?

Try wash her head and then using coconut oil.
