My other child was very early with language and was speaking mcuh better when she was turning 2 than this child is as she turns 3. I don't know if my younger child is behind or average or what.

She understands language very well and can follow involved instructions, not just simple instructions. But people don't understand her well at all. She knows a lot of words, but only half to three-quarters are understandable, even by us in her family, and she doesn't form them into correct sentences but makes toddlerese sentences. "I go park" instead of "I want to go to the park." She also babbles some stil, like instead of "I go park" she might say "I babble babble babble go babble babble park."
Does this sound normal? Thanks!
