The Belly Thread! - Page 17

haha, it looks like bath time, Lizbiz.

Ithappened, your stomach looks great.  it actually reminds me of those Barbies they used to have where the stomach popped off and a baby was inside.  I guess it had a spring loaded inner stomach and then the little plastic baby went in, and the preggo shell went over.  I feel like this is weird to describe, my neighbor had one, but I guess I'm trying to say is it looks like someone just stuck a little belly to the front of you.  It's a really cute preggo belly.

hahahahahaahahaha... that is maybe the funniest way anyone has ever explained the way I look when pregnant. thank you.... so awesome. ROTFLMAO.gifI will never think of my stomach in the same way again

On the bright side, Barbie got her pre-baby figure back immediately. Haha.

The Barbie exchange is the funniest thing ever.  Your belly does look sort of detachable, ithappened.  And super cute.

Here's my non-detachable belly at week 20.  I tried to do a front pic since I think it's kind of funny that you can't really tell from the front yet, but neither of them came out great.  (I just deleted the frontal pic because it made this post gigantic).  So, here's the belly!

Oh I love all your pics!!  Looking wonderful!!!

Here we are, working on week #21..... This is prior to my nightly 9pm meal/snack, which always adds substantial girth... now I'm about to have me some bangers and mash...and then get out that belly cream!!

I love that picture!  Nice lighting, cute belly, and such a pretty dress.

Lily, NewMum, and Desert, your bellies are gorgeous!  I love how everyone is getting sweet round bellies!! I'm hoping I pop some more in the next couple of weeks.

Here is my 17 week photo montage update....I forgot to do it at 15 weeks so I just updated all of it now. I didn't think this through properly in the beginning, but I don't know how I will line the 3rd trimester, or even the end of the 2nd trimester, row up with the 1st trimester row.  Should have made the pictures a little wider.

Also, here is a frontal shot at 17 weeks.

Oh, and LilyTiger, I love, love, love your area rug!

Thanks, Veritas!  It's Pottery Barn.  Unfortunately, when our dog was a puppy she decided to play "fetch" with the berber strands, so we keep that half hidden under the bed.  As DH and I say, "This is why we can't have nice things".  At least the dogs have prepared us in that way for parenthood.

Hahaha I say that too!! For the record- DS and The Dog are pretty much 1:1 in the trashing our nice things department.. I think DS might even be ahead now. At some point I put all my 'investment pieces' of clothing into storage and cursed myself for every buying them knowing by the time I can bring them out again they will likely be dated and the nice breakables either ALL went up high- very high- or also into storage. Lesson learned. Post-Baby-Phase I now buy only cheap washable clothes and nothing which can break easily

Ooh! The bellies are getting bigger! I love the pics! I can finally add to the "bathroom pics." Our power went out the night I do my belly shots, so I had to stand on a stool in the bathroom with a headlamp to get this picture. It's a little dark. :) This is my 19 week shot:

Feral, Veritas, and Aimee-  Thanks so much!! I'm trying to work my way through all of my dresses while they still fit, I'm worried that I will get my pre-pregnancy figure back enough to have the confidence to wear them after!  I'm the lighting director at my theater so I feel like I should come up with something, even just at home.  Maybe I'll set something more elaborate up at work one day... oh, the possibilities....

Here's yesterday's 20 weeks along shot. So huge!

You all look so great! I need to take a picture. I was so good about it with my daughter but haven't been taking them this time since I am a bit rounder to start with. :P I'm sure I'll wish I took them anyway looking back on it so thanks for the inspiration! :)

I finally told family... with a picture of my u/s lol. It was obvious and apparent long before then, though. :)

Here's my 20 week belly and new hair cut/color. My hair was just past my shoulders/to my bra line before I cut it.
