my babe is 4 months old. about 1.5-2 weeks ago i saw the tiniest bit of red spotting for a day but nothing after. now today i've seen more red when i wipe. no full blown AF yet. does this mean my reliance on LAM is unreliable?

Was you bleeding after sex? If it was, then maybe you can attribute it to that. Are you having any mucus? If you're not having any mucus and you recently had sex, then you could be okay. But if you're having mucus, if I were you, I'd assume LAM is no longer an option.

If you want to be cautious, observe for mucus. If you observe any consider yourself fertile. If your mucus dries us for 4 days, you're back to phase 1, but once mucus appears, you're back to phase 2. This can continue on and on for months until your body gears up to finally ovulate.

Nope, not after sex. It wasn't even bleeding. It was just the very slightest bit of pinkish mucous when I wiped. So, yes, I am having mucous but it's hard for me to tell what kind. It's clear and slippery but there's not enough to grab and stretch. I'm pretty sure that's my creamy, which is also my BFing BIP.

I don't get it. I didn't get cycles back while BFing ds2 and ds3 for over a year. I hate that this is happening so soon. I wish I could just get menopause and be done with it all now.
