Um..I just ate an entire bag of aged white cheddar Pirate's Booty. Ahem. Cough. Cough. It's only, like, 500 calories for the whole bag. That's not too bad, right?
Cravings - Page 5
I'm right there with you with the chocolate milk. I do occasionally drink it, but only with the pourable choco syrup.
DH got me a nice sized bottle of premixed choco milk. LOVED every drop of it.
I'm pretty much craving Mexican food. We had enchiladas twice last week. (Would it be too much to have them again tomorrow?) And tacos tonight. Fortunately, my kids love me and understand my cravings. LOL
Gluten free pizza with soy cheese? I'm sure you can find something that will satisfy your craving! I'm gluten intolerant, so I have a lot of restrictions as well, but I love to bake. Last night I made mini bagel pizzas with Udi's bagels. I'm not sure if they have dairy or corn in them, but I'm sure you can find something if you're desperate enough!
Oh I am desparate, believe me! All the Udi's stuff has rice in it I believe. Almost all GF recipes have rice and corn.
I want you to have your pizza too. We make our own pizza and pile it with our favorite vegetable toppings. Maybe you can make your own too type of GF pizza, using either gluten free premade crust or use a recipe of one on the Internet, or some GF english muffins or even a GF bagel, add some type of non dairy cheese, sauce, and veggies or meat or whatever you want.
I really wish I could - my whole list of things that make me sick are : wheat, oats including GF oats, corn, rice, soy, dairy, sugar, beef, pork, almonds, coconut, peanuts (possibly all nuts) - I made a dough out of millet, amaranth, arrowroot, flax and some eggs and made sort of like a tortilla, and felt horrible. So I am guessing no grains are ok. I tried Daiya cheese, but it has xanthan gum which is grown on corn and coconut...so I felt pretty sick. 100% buckwheat pasta was the same.
Right now I am very desperate for some ice cream. Like I seriously feel like I am going to cry over this. But I won't hijack this thread, sorry. Everyone enjoy your food extra for me lol
SomethingAnon, I hope you don't feeI too awful.
I feel you all on the chocolate milk and white bagels, although I burnt myself out on them. Neither are things I would normally eat.
I was at work today and DP emailed me about going for Vietnamese, it made my stomach turn. Blech. But then I got a huge craving for Ethiopian....omgoodness, sooooo good. We went and got the vegetarian platter immediately after work and it hit the spot. Yum!

With my first, I didn't have a single craving the whole pregnancy. So far, I've had several with this one, and a few were major enough that I literally could not stop thinking about them until I had them. Cream of wheat, white bread with sugary peanut butter (usually only have whole grain with healthy, no sugar added PB), cheese balls, and cottage cheese. It's amazing - once I ate each thing, it tasted like the best thing I have ever had and hit the spot like nothing ever has. Since then though, I don't have much interest in any of them.
