SNS or syringe feeding toddler?

I am pregnant with #2 and #1 is still 16 months. I am sure I have almost if not completely lost my supply. I don't hear anymore swallowing and it feels different when DD nurses- more like she is suckling than actively nursing. I have not been able to find anybody willing to donate (I assume because she is an older baby) and I would like for her to not forget how to nurse before the new baby is born. I hope to tandem nurse because DD is petite and currently is only getting cow's milk which doesn't do much for her immune system. I thought about using a syringe while she is nursing so that she has a little extra incentive not to wean but I have not been able to find any. I looked up the Medela SNS but I hear they are complicated to use and I'm sure DD will yank it around while nursing. Has anybody used anything to supplement a toddler at the breast? Currently she nurses and breaks her latch to get milk from a sippy cup but I'm not sure she will keep this up for the next four months : (

You might get more answers in Breastfeeding Beyond Infancy OR Breastfeeding Challenges.

That said--- congrats on your new pregnancy!  How far along are you?  Have you tried increasing your milk supply at all?
