Alright, so up until this point we have avoided giving our toddler refined sugar, dyes and such. It is something that I feel strongly about and obstain from such items myself, however my DH could kinda care less, he has supported my choice thus far but we are getting some major grief about "depriving our child" from grandparents and others in regards to this topic, since he doesn't really feel strongly about the issue he would find it easier to just have our son eat what is more "socially acceptable" shall we say..... and I can understand that..... grief not worth it to him, but it's something I feel strongly about, it is becoming a sticky point, but I am struggling to clearly attempt to explain by refined sugar should be mostly avoided.... Â

Do you all have any suggestions for articles or websites that might provide an explaination (meaning research..... experts.... etc) I know that I have more energy ad just feel more stable when I avoid refined sugar.... but that's me.... ya know?). Whatever food choices we want for our son we need to be a united front when it goes to our response to others.....we can compromise.... but I want to feel like I can explain my feelings accurately.

I should also add that DS could care less about not eating sugar, he doesn't knwo the difference at this point. Nor do I intend to attempt to avoid refined sugar forever, but he doesn't care at this point..... so why go there?
