Today I'm experiencing some short, sharp pains in my breasts. I've already outgrown my 34D bra that I had just bought prior to getting pg, so I'm (really) hoping they're still not growing. I don't know much about nursing bras, but some ladies I know have suggested I get one...I just don't know what size and if it will still fit by the end of the pregnancy. Yesterday marked 17 weeks, so I still have a while to go. I'm just tired of m'ladies being uncomfortable...ugh!
I know those pains well. They're not necessarily indicators that an increase in size is coming though - I only grow about 1/4 cup in pregnancy. Not sure what's causing the pains though.
Try getting a tank top with a shelf bra in it and layering it under your clothes. That's the only thing I could do last pregnancy, since none of my bras fit once my ribcage started spreading. And don't buy nursing bras yet. Wait until about 34-36 weeks and buy 1 that fits then and 1 in 1 cup size larger. You can even leave the tags on if money is tight. Wait to buy any more nursing bras until a few weeks pp. But nursing tanks with shelf bras are great, since they don't have to be a perfect fit. That's a better choice to get you through the nb period when your boobs are changing shape/size almost daily.
