pinching feeling in my cervix?

Does anybody else get pinch like feelings in their cervix?  They don't really hurt hurt but they bother me a little.  Seems to happen or notice it only when resting.  It seems to come and go.  I am for sure not pregnant - week after my period.  I recall getting feelings like this in late pregnancy and was wondering if this is something to worry about or what.   I am still spotting a little so I am wondering if its hormonal issue.

This happened to me a lot during pregnancy and for awhile after DD was born. But i would get it checked out anyway. You never know.
