So cute! I love the kimonos!

Oh WOw!  I have missed a lot of photos on this thread, somehow.  Those are gorgeous diaper bags, Triple07 and Sara Jane!  And a BEAUTIFUL quilt!  And thanks for the snuggler pattern.

I have been working on the crib ensemble (I am worried about cosleeping because we have a small bed and a feisty 3 yo still in it).  I'm feeling weird about it, because after SO MANY hours of work, I am not loving it.  I DO love the string piecing on the end bumper and will do all the rest of the bumpers that way, but I am not sure about the quilt.  I may try to sell this one and make a more plain quilt, or else use this as the back (it's not quilted yet) and make a more plain front- then it will be reversible.  Anyway, here is what I have so far:

I agree, it is super beautiful, I love it!  I don't think it is too much at all.  I have a purple one that would look nice next to that blue one.

triple07 - string quilts are super easy to make, you don't even have to sew straight lines exactly straight. :)

that's exactly what i was going to say.  This is easy patchwork and requires no special skills, just lots of time and scraps.  And even the applique- I was afraid of and stayed away from applique forever, but I needn't have.  If you use a pattern and double sided fusible web, applique is super easy, too.

It just looks so intimidating lol, but gorgeous. I have a bajillion jelly rolls and wanted to try making a quilt from them...
