My kids want to make some candy cane playdough (red and white twirled together, with some glitter and peppermint oil mixed in) to give to our neighborhood friends. I had originally thought we would give the dough out in glass jars, with fabric over the lids and cute ribbon, Martha Stewart etc. But! I would love something less expensive and more - reusable? - although obviously glass is highly reusable! - something less breakable and more portable. Any ideas for an inexpensive, cute, crafty (but not difficult for a 3 and 5 year old to help out with) way to give out handmade playdough? Thanks!

I've seen some cute holiday tupperwares and tins at JoAnn fabrics, Target, Michaels, etc. Â That would be cute! Â And the tin would be reusable long after the playdoh is gone. Â I have a bunch of cookie tins that I have art supplies in now that we got for Christmas. Â It makes me smile to see them because the "good feelings" from the gift remain years later. :)
