Will you be finding out the gender? - Page 3

Anyone trying any of the "home" gender prediction tests, just for fun? I did the baking soda test yesterday (put a little in a cup, add some pee, and if it fizzes madly, that's supposed to mean boy; little or no reaction means girl) and it said girl. The Chinese calendar predictor also said girl. The ring test was inconclusive.

Anyone else? I'd love to see what everyone's "predictions" are, either by these tests or intuition, and then see whether they're accurate.

I just did the baking soda-- girl.  A few bubbles, but no fizz at all.

I suppose the biggest part of the baking soda one would be your urine acidity. If it's not bubbling, you may want to look into increasing the acidity of your urine to lower your UTI risk. A good way is through cranberry juice (100% not the sugary stuff) or cranberry pills.

The theory here would follow the same as "fresh veggies/fruit cravings mean girl, meat cravings mean boy" as large amounts of things such as oranges and veggies will turn your urine alkaline while meat turns it more acidit.

MaerynPearl- I have alternately craved meat and fruit/veggies- what does that mean?

I'm feeling these are little boys, Chinese prediction test said boy, I have a friend betting boy. DH is sure they're little girls. I was right we were having twins though, so we shall see. On the other hand, I had a dream that I was showing off my two little girl babies. Haven't tried the other tests yet.
