Mamas of babies near Cambridge?

I'm a first time mom of a 4 month old (now 5 months old) and I'm looking to connect with other parents (irl). For whatever reason I didn't go to any new moms groups when she was a newborn and now I'm really wanting other moms of similar aged babies to talk with about our experiences of new motherhood and generally hang out with. Also Bea seems to really love seeing other babies and it would be nice for her to know some her age. Any local moms interested (I live in Cambridge MA)?

Hi there-

 

My son is 5 months old, and we are always looking for new mamas and babies to meet :) We live nearby in Newton, but love coming over to Cambridge.  I work part time, but am home every Monday and Wednesday--perhaps we could find a time to have a little meet up after the holidays? Life Alive has a great baby and kid friendly area downstairs where we've met friends with little ones before...I don't think there's a way to send a personal message through this forum.  Hi! I have a 4 month old named Maisie and we live near Harvard Square.  I would love to meet some local moms and babies as I think Maisie's getting bored with just me.  I work Mondays and Tuesdays, but am free any other day. PM me if you want to set something up.

We don't have a plan yet, but I'm hoping to go to the babywearers of boston meeting tomorrow if anyone else wants to come... more later (left handed typing while nak as usual).

So,

wondering if everyone wants to get together next Wednesday the 24th, at noon? Or earlier if that is better. We could meet at life alive again or the library to mix it up. What do you think?

Let's plan on meeting this Wednesday at 11:00am at Life Alive (in Central square, Cambridge). Does that work for everyone? All welcome, post on this thread if you are coming so we know who to expect!
